Dear students,

Welcome to English class. In this course we will learn basic vocabulary in English that will allow us to communicate in everyday situations. We will learn how to greet other people, numbers, colors, family vocabulary, food, animals, clothing, parts of the body, and household terms.

By the end of the course, you will be able to understand and use these simple words and expressions to introduce yourselves, describe objects and people, talk about your families, order food, talk about your pets, describe your clothes and body parts, and talk about places in your house.

To achieve this, we will develop:

• Knowledge of vocabulary in English about the mentioned topics.
• Appreciation and respect for the English language as a communication tool.
• Confidence to use basic English in everyday life situations.
• Ability to recognize and identify vocabulary in texts and images.
• Capacity to apply vocabulary in simple oral and written expressions.
• Skills to properly pronounce words and expressions.
• Use of vocabulary to interact in simulated basic conversations.
